In an emergency
Call the right people first.
Smell gas?
Open windows, don't use switches, and call the National Gas Emergency Service.
Carbon monoxide alarm?
Open doors and windows, get everyone outside, and call the gas emergency line. Get medical help if anyone feels unwell.
Power cut?
Check your trip switches first. If the street is out too, call your electricity network.
Water leak?
Use the stopcock inside, usually under the kitchen sink. If that doesn't stop it, the outside stop tap under the small cover in the pavement or front path.
Turn off the water
Then call us on 07398 042 999, and keep redialling until we answer.
