R. Lancaster & Sons (Cleveleys) Limited, established 1897

Homes to rent.
Family business since 1897.

Here's everything you need as one of our tenants.

Living in your home.

A few things that keep homes safe, warm and dry.

Smoke and CO alarms

Press the test button once a month. If one beeps or stops working, let us know.

Safety checks

By law, a Gas Safe engineer checks the gas every year and an electrician the electrics every five years. An energy assessor visits now and then too. We'll always give notice and arrange a time.

Damp and mould

Open a window or use the extractor when cooking, showering or drying clothes. If you see damp or mould, tell us early.

Your deposit

By law, your deposit is held in a government-approved protection scheme. The scheme details are in the paperwork from the start of your tenancy.

Moving out

Email us your notice in writing, and we'll confirm the dates and next steps.

Your rights

The government's guide covers rights and responsibilities for private renters.
